SOL Approved Media List?

DEAR PARENTS,

We need your help! As you know the world we live in is saturated with media promoting sex to our children at younger and younger ages. Especially now during COVID times... we may find ourselves allowing our children on screens more often than we'd like.

How do we keep our kids safe from being exposed to inappropriate content? Tv shows, movies, video games, music and Youtube channels are full of sexually explicit images and language.

We'd like to pool together the wisdom of all the parents out there. Please tell us about the positive media influences in the life of your child! So that we can share these great resources with others.

We will be putting together an ongoing, growing SCHOOL OF LOVE APPROVED Media checklist for families!

THINGS WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • positive traditional family values

  • uplifting, positive messages

  • non-sexual content

  • clean language

  • positive conflict resolution

  • positive friendship models

  • overcoming obstacles

  • courageous role models

  • characters that learn and grow

  • teamwork

  • etc

We look forward to reading your recommendations. If you have more than 4- you may submit another response!

SUBMIT YOUR RECOMMENDATIONS HERE!

Thank you sincerely,

<3 SOL Directors Leena & Jario and Team
